What a brilliant night!

I've just got back from David Davidson's Attic Folk CLub in Chesterfield. It was a really good evening, Steve Turner, doing everything from Ry Cooder to Handel Arias, followed by John Howart and TOny Downes, with a couple of songs from TOny's wife thrown in for good measure. An audience who join in with the choruses, draught Guinness, no smoking, and clean toilets, what more could you want?

John

Just got back from Gainsborough Folk Club...singaround night with appearance by 'Vestlife' and 'Stitherum' who did the famous Aardvaark song (His Worship and the Pig) also two members of Da-Capo joined us in our evening of fun and frollicks. Jokes abounded and too many laughs and too much fun to list. Another brilliant night!

His Worship and the Pig are brilliant. And the young lady with the hot pants has a lovely voice as well if she can be persuaded to sing,

What we really need is teleportation, so that getting to places to far sensibly to drive for an evening's fun is practical....

What about the possibility of pulling out of Iraq, letting Iran invade and lose resources fighting their own kind,
and then come in and mop up the dregs?
