Avril, Having read Dave Bryants`s vivid description of your performance you appear to have made quite an impression and any folk club really should give you a floor spot. But seriously, we have run folk clubs in London and the south east from the "Railway Tavern" at Catford to our "sing and play" nights where we are now and never once have we resorted to pre-booking floor spots. Sound a bit "mafia-ish" to me.
