Deckman, Thanks for the story of your dad. He's a hero, all right. Reading this thread makes me realize that there really are quite a few heroes out there. --Or at least (though it may not be the same thing) many people who can do heroic things. Although I don't agree with everything she said, I've always admired Mother Theresa's remark: God does not call us to do great things, but to do small things with great love.
