I too think that reincarnation is bunkum. Where do we go when we die? Where does the light go when the bulb breaks? It doesn't go anywhere, it simply stops. I think the proponents of reincarnation are wishful thinkers who seize on second-hand stories and mystical-magical gobbledegook with an eagerness powered by the fear of death - a legitimate fear, but one which should not prompt us to confuse reason with hope. By the way I am not happy with the rubbish that the big pink lad is copping. This suggests to me that the same emotion which drives muddy thinking also drives sneers at anyone venturing to disagree. 'If you disagree with my belief in reincarnation, you are disagreeing with my right to another life, therefore I will attack you.'
