Jon - all I'm saying is that the Brits around here (and ok all those around the world who follow Criket and British football) are really the only ones who spend much time talking about sports on Mudcat.

Nothing wrong with that, but I was responding to someone complaining that there's too much U.S. Politics - The Mudcat is what we make it. It is as about as democratic as possible - Ther are more Americans on the site because we have a population of 300 million - more than the rest of native speaking English people around the world combined. It's only natural that we would have more people here.

It'sd funny - we get complaints from the U.K. that theres too much American politics and complaints from the U.S. that there's too much British music and sports being discussed.

Imagine how Skarpi in Iceland feels!
