Cricket is very very relevant to, eg: the people of India (where Nasser Hussain was born) - population 1 BILLION plus - put that in your pipe and smoke it!

If you don't like cricket you (1) don't know it - fair enough
                              (2) don't understand it
                              (3) have a very short concentration span
If (2) AND (3) coincide you may well be an American - poor sausage; go away.
                              
I agree it's a great shame he's retiring - he certainly passed the Tebbit Test (who cares) - a great sportsman and a great English player. The game is poorer for his departure.
