My father part-recorded a song from the tv coverage of Bobby Kennedy's funeral that was shown in Australia. I've never been able to track down either the songwriter or the title and I don't know whether it was originally written for JFK or RFK or was a folk song adapted for the occasion. My Dad reckons it is by Tom Paxton. I don't think so, although I understand that Paxton played "Outward Bound" for a CBS memorial for Robert Kennedy. Anyway, here's the fragment I recall: Where then lay you down On a hillside by the town Some may say goodbye, they will But I know your heart is beating still Can someone help me out here? I've been trying to track this down for over 20 years.
