Thank you, Nick and Sue B. Nick -- I'm hopeful now because I think I now understand some very important things that I never quite got before. Like it's not about being cute and sexy and talented and laughing alot as an end in itself. As I have said before, it's about vulnerability and it's about intimacy, which means allowing yourself to be known all the way down to the bone and only sticking around people who allow themselves to be known that way. Sue -- Guess our Catters across the pond don't know about Boston Latin (and many Staters don't know it either), but that was and is a hell of a school. Let's put it this way: when you graduate from that school, you will be a Harold Bloom-type classical intellectual, an anomoly in the sea of unfortunate mediocrity that characterizes American public schools.
