I blush to admit, I have actually witnessed, and indeed, tasted, a kitty litter cake. You may be surprised (or maybe not) to learn that this confection was served at a party at Pinewoods Camp during Folk Music Week two or three summers ago. The party theme was junk food delights; a high point of the festivities was a Velveeta-carving contest. Great fun and indigestion was had by all--and, yes, the cake did look, er, realistic.
