Scotland is not a real country - it's north england. The scotch have always kissed england's arse. Unlike the Irish who had the courage to kick the english out. All the scotch that i have met in my life have been tight fisted, mean, scheming, arrogant, english worshippers. It does not surprise me that they behaved in such an obnoxious manner, it's in their scotch nature.
