Claude Ferguson, an Ozark's spoon player who is now in his 80's, wrote in his treatise on musical spoons, "That's the joy of spoon playing--it joins you with the nicest people in the nicest places who just plain enjoy making music together."
What a pity that his attitude seems comparatively rare in this group!
