I didn't make myself very clear in last thread. I am a writer and musician who lived and was very close friends with Tom Hoskins (Fang). Tom discovered Mississippi John Hurt and many other blues people. Look under Tom Hoskins house of the blues on your search engine. I met Tom in 1960 and lost contact around the late 1970's. Since that time i understand he died in 2001-2002. I have been on the road a long time but got shot in the head and suffered Tramatic Brain Injury in July 2002. I am recovering at my homeplace in the mountains of Virginia. So i have the time to seek old friends of Fangs and Firk etc. And I need to make some new friends as well. I am very isolated in a cabin in the Bullpasture River Gourge. As you can tell I have learned to talk after the "incident" and am learning to play again. John Hurt and all this happened in Takoma Park, Md. At lease that was home base when we were not travelling. We got Mr. Hurt and family a place nearby. So we played together alot. Thanks for any help or replies from old friends or new. People keep trying to get me to write a book on all this, and I just may.Dave Nicholson General Delivery, Williamsville, Virginia 24487. Thank You, Wolfdog
