OK, here's a question - not flaming, just asking. Why ban handguns, but not rifles? OK, OK, I know the old toffee about 'handguns are easy to conceal and rifles aren't', but didn't the sniper-guy who shot a few innocent passers-by over a period of a week or two (Washington? Philadelphia? don't remember the exact location) use a rifle? It was pretty well-concealed. And (I could be wrong here - apologies if so) wasn't it one of them thar harmless huntin' rifles that never hurts no-one? Just askin'
