As with most arts, the dealers, distributors, the sellers never see or understand art but they do know how to make (and more important, keep) a buck. Just what the commodity is, is not important. Understanding the consumer, manipulating wants and desires is ALL important. It seems as though one either has "art" or "business" but seldom both. That, or a "Nose to the grindstone" mentality.
