Why on Earth would I resent it? As I said earlier, I don't give a toss if there are 20 festivals on within ten miles of each other. It makes no difference to me. I know where I'm heading, just the same as you do! The whole point that I've been trying to make is that everyone has a freedom of choice in this country (thank God). If somebody wants to hold a folk festival in Marske, Redcar or Loftus on the same weekend as Saltburn then they have the absolute right to do so. Neither you, me or anyone else can stop them. Regarding any 'resentment', may I cast your mind back to why this thread developed in the first place!
