Confrontational and aggressive Les? I think you'll find it's simply telling it like it is and having a different opinion. I haven't 'rubbished' anything you've said. I simply differed. I'm afraid that life isn't all cosy and fluffy. There are many, many people on here that belong to the clique. Many of you seem to know each other, you (nearly) all have the same taste and opinions of exactly what folk music is. You have virtually no time for anything post-1975 and hate it when anybody comes along with their own interpretration of folk music, folk festivals and which direction THEY would like the whole folk scene to head in.

Shrewsbury - Yes

My choices are;

Pickering, Sidmouth, Broadstairs, Rochester, Towersey. All of which I would go to at the drop of a hat.
