Oh dear, oh dear...First "scholarly" discourses on the deeper meaning of "American Pie," and now encomia for "Riverdance." What's next, the Kingston Trio as true heirs of the American ur-folk zeitgeist? "Riverdance" is right up there with green beer and the Lucky Charms Leprechaun in my book of Irish cultural icons...I do believe I have had enough of this twee little chat club. Bye.
