When I was quite small, The Dubs were on Top Of The Pops doing either Seven Drunken Nights or Black Velvet Band. My uncle came into the room and switched the telly off, muttering about 'fenians'. I was immediatly interested that these strange looking men with their big ol beards could cause such a reaction. I started listening and later became a big fan. I had never heard anything like Ronnie Drew and as I got older I realised that I never would. Luke became my hero but I recognise that Ronnie is the face and sound of the Dubs to the vast majority of the public. Goow work and thanks, Ronnie
