Sorry about that. I tend to take questions about classical philology seriously. On the other hand, years ago, in a session in which scholarly papers about ancient eroticism and sexually explicit art were being discussed, some old codger got up during the question and answer period and congratulated a young woman who had just read a paper on classical Greek depictions of oral sex. "You are to be congratulated," he said, "for presenting your subject matter so tastefully." And then he realized what he said. And the best part is that after turning beet red, he still had the presence of mind to follow up and say "Well, I guess this proves once again that the tongue is mightier than the sword." Really happened.
