CrowSister, THANKYOU for the extra verses for Tom/Maud, I'm going to use the ones I don't know along with the alternative chorus tomorrow night. (Starting and finishing with the original first and last verses, like I would for Tom). Maudlin was from Magdalene, it was sometimes used as an euphemism for a prostitute. Hence Mad Maudlin being 'A mad tart' fighting invisible celestial foes, gypsies, sluts, doxies for the love of her madman. I love this song.
