Ggfs, a lot of music have that progression. A Day In the Life has a rush, an alternate consciouness and replete with flashbacks, all in the key of G. At the time I thought it was quite creative and I would argue, at the time, it was. I bought the first Who album, at least, I think it was: Happy Jack. Dylan, Doors, Blues were more to my taste in those days, Cream. I lived in Pacifica CA (16 miles S. of SF) in '67 and did the whole Hashberry scene. Often made it to the Fillmore and the Avalon Ballroom. Man, was I a lost soul but I loved much of the music of that period. It truly was a revolution and evolution. Many things musical were re-defined and insturmentation experimentation boomed. It was a heady time, you might say. LH, uh, so what kind of "hawk" are you? Buteo, accipiter, falconae? You DO know you are a member of the (say it isn't so)Raptor family? sorry Rap;). PS I LIKE the Monkeys' work, for the most part (the music, that is).
