A wonderful day, marching peacefully with hundreds of thousands of others, probably 400,000. Marching for justice in a society which is being polarised as the richest in the land get richer and pay little or no tax, encouraged by successive governments, while the bottom 10% carry the highest percentage tax burden. If we were "all in this together" there wouldn't be a problem. But we're not. The very people who created the banking crisis are still being obscenely rewarded. The violent protesters were not even associated with the march, and I don't support the violence those hundred or two employed. But UK Uncut's non-violent occupations of premises, that's fine by me.
