Thank you Jon, I didn't realise there were so many strands of belief tied into this. I saw some documentary a while ago, where Christian groups were busy meddling in delicate matters in the Middle-East because they effectively saw it as a useful way to assist in bringing on a major world conflict. All really quite troubling. I don't know about 'the rapture' but I do find the nightmarish visions contained in Revelations deeply potent. But then I also like Milton and Dante for the very same reason.
