A local resale shop has a Martin backpacker guitar. They want $165 for it. How can I tell, without restringing, if it's playable. Neck is not bowed; no visible damage. If I foolishly buy a portable guitar, I will have officially come down w/ Guitar Acquisition Syndrome. Especially since I wracked up my wrist and can't play at present.
