Yes, of course there are people making decent, even fantastic cheeses in the States. There seem to be a lot of them around me...no big surprise, NY is a dairy state. Has anyone not from the Northeast heard of Heluva Good or Cabot cheeses? I'm curious b/c they're the best "mass-produced" cheeses we get that aren't imports, and I wondered if they are available in other parts of the country.
