I've taken a quick look through a book of traditional verses of this sort and haven't found this particular one. I'll look a bit deeper and ask a few people. "Llwyd" can mean pallid, weak. It adds to the nonsense of these kind of verses; on one hand you're saying the beer is rubbish but on the other hand that it is meat and drink to people. sian
