I was aat Rick's show last Friday with 3 of my friends.(front row no less!) What a treat, we all were very impressed with the show and all of the performers. The selection of tunes spanned awide range of folk,bluegrass,gospel and traditional music. Both sets were about 90 min. in length, so we really got our $10 worth. Dan whitley was amazing, Chris Coole was cool and steady as a rock. A special treat was when Chris Quinn was asked up on stage for a few numbers. In my opinion he is Canada's answer to Bela Fleck! Also asked to sit in for a few tunes was a very talented, very young flat picker named Mark Roy(I think). Watch out for this guy in the future, his skill was quite awesome. Rick was in great form on a variety of guitars, and banjo. His voice keeps getting better! What more can I say, It was a night to remember.
