Damn. Here I am in the Northumberland Public Library with more tears than I have a handkerchief for. MIght as well grab my guitar and head down to the tavern. I'm not a drinking man, but if anyone needs a designated driver lately I think I make it through the tears. Kat was with us a long time. I never met her, but it was clear to me that she had a large heart and truly cared for others. I'm of an age, as are many of us in the folk world, where this is going to happen more often. A dear one has passed. The world is sadder for her passing, but not sadder for her living in it. I'll strum some blues chords behind Amos and maybe EJ will bring some harps. I do so love this place.
