We do it as a rap!

basically the same , but you can alter the rhythm ...and put in little
sort of grunts and stuff...and we teach all the kids to say it...they pick it up after the first/second 'verse' and we add ['bits'] sotto voce as it were

Yo ,, my name is Joe
I work in a button factory [uhumm]
I got a wife [ugly wife] and three kids [lovely kids][we add that in about 3rd time through - later change the lovely and ugly round]
One day the boss said to me.[whatdhe say?]
He said -Joe   .[uhuh].... I said Yo
He said = you busy? .... I said no
Then push this button with your hand
So I pushed the button with my hand [ok.. here we go..mmm]

Yo my name is Joe etc..... so push this button with....
The other hand
your foot
the other foot
your bum
your head
your tongue

He said Joe I said Yo
he said ..you busy? and I said YES!

Great for a warm up before we do dance stuff - and very popular!
