I'm so sorry you had to go through this, BG. Tom had a good life, especially with your love for each other. He doesn't hurt anymore, and he's having a well-deserved rest. Now you have to take care of yourself. When you've been under this much stress, your attention span will shorten, your reaction time will slow, and your reading level might well go down. They'll come back, but write yourself reminder notes, drive carefully, don't make decisions too quickly, catch up on sleep, don't drink alone, keep moving, and give yourself time.
