Can I say "Thanks" to you John and all the other posters who treated the original post with the concern it deserved. So many posts represent the kind of sniggering you get from 6 year-olds. Believe me, it's not at all funny when it happens to you. This condition has reduced me to tears on numerous occasions. My GP sent me for a scan to rule out bowel cancer and the result was, thank God, negative. Tried various antibiotics with no success and now I use Loperamide when away from home as a way of ensuring I don't get caught out. Eddie
