I collected a few song snippets many years ago in South Devon from an elderly Lancashire Woman. One was 'Lancashire Joe' of which the words she could give me were confined to Now I am a lad and I'll have yous to know, I were brought up in Owdham, called Lancashire Joe, I were always well-dressed and such a nice lad All t folks round about said I favvored me dad.
