Passing laws and relying on law abiding citizens works for most of us. In a democracy you should be able to trust law makers not to abuse that notion.

You may as well decriminalise anything that keeps occurring by that logic. Don't worry, we'll send Stephen Fry out again to do a another documentary about how weird you all are. Interestingly, spending about 1/3 of my time in The USA for many years, I hardly ever saw the attitudes displayed by some of those on here.
