1. 'erb is NOT the French pronunciation (which sounds more like 'airbe'). 2. If a puzzle wasn't puzzling, would it be a puzzle? 3. 'It reminds me of cop-speak--- "at this point in time the intoxicated individual exited his vehicle."' I don't know about US cop-speak, but in the UK they would say 'at this point in time the intoxicated individual has exited his vehicle'. I don't know why they do this but it does irritate me.
