Trying Trying Trying to find lyrics to a song someone once sang to me when I was a young gal! It was Sooooooooo long ago that I may remember them wrong but goes something like........ In 1840 I took a little trip down the grand missouri to the river Mississip...(de de dade de)................... They ran so fast the rabbits couldn't catch them, they ran so fast ...........(dar dar de dar de dar)........... Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico....... Does anyone know what this Damn song is, or where to find it, or who sang it, or who wrote it, or which country it's from, or anything? please let me know cheers!
