It's odd the way in the UK media, if it reported this at all, it seems to have reported as "Russian military plane crashes", with the Alexandra Ensemble being very much an aftterthought way down the story, if it is mentioned at all. National mourning in Russia, but we're all taken up with George Michael"s death.

The Guardian reported it immediately and extensively as 'breaking news'.
