I first saw and met Miriam at the Triangle Folk Club in Edinburgh , back in the 70's and I was totally enchanted ...I mean totally. She was amazing. fast forward 40+ years ... I went along to see her at the Wee Folk Club in the Royal Oak in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago and she was just as entrancing then as she was the first time I saw her. Miriam will be returning to the UK in 2018 (I will be arranging a gig for her in Edinburgh ) and I urge you to go and see this remarkable woman if you have the chance. I will most certainly update Mudcatters with details of her gigs next year.
