When I was Firecat's age (seeing as how I was merely an art student, and not overburdened with work) I was in sole charge of the coffee machine in the corridor outside the 6th form common room. I had to clean and refill it. Perks for the job? A freebie drink every day: I had chocolate! There were some weird smells (sulphur dioxide/formalin) around that machine, but I assure you that they were from honestly conducted/cocked-up science experiments from the labs which also shared the corridor, and from the A-level biologists' preserved dogfish. The smell of formalin followed those students wherever they went! No livestock in MY machine! And "mouldy" has nowt to do with the state of that machine! Andrea
