Err, it was a spoof video,Howard, and not the only one she's made. I dare say. That didn't prevent it from being widely ridiculed, although I think the claims the nation was "outraged" weretypical journalistic exaggeration. I'm not sure people could decide whether or not it was a spoof - on the one hand it was all so wrong that it surely couldn't be serious, on the other hand she's American... It does cast a light on the nonsense of cultural appropriation. It's not like tea is native to the UK. The American way of making tea (unspoofed) is fairly vile, but it that's how they like it who are we to criticise?
