Cryer Folk started in Carshalton Surrey just before the great lockdown but has been continuing whenever possible. It takes place every second Tuesday of the month (next one on Tues 12th October). It is in a community theatre with proper stage and some simple amplification (because we want to keep it mostly acoustic). Audience numbers 70 - 120 (had to be kept to 70 in times of restriction). Well ventilated, air conditioning, choice of 2 bars. The format is 12 acts each doing 10-15min slot followed by come all ye playing session at the end which continues in the bar after 10.30pm until we get chucked out.
