Your mention of Shane Warne reminded me that legendary 70s-80s Sandgroper cricketer, Rod Marsh, passed on the SAME day (also as the result of a heart attack) - but his passing being somewhat overshadowed by news of Warnie's demise (at a younger age), in Thailand!! I can't claim to know a great deal about cricket, but I do recall that the phrase "Caught Marsh, Bowled Lillee" commonly punctuated both the airwaves and print, in my earlier days.
