Some years ago my wife and I went on a day steam excursion from Lancaster down to Preston then across to the Settle and Carlisle, upto carlisle and back. We were hauled by a preserved Jubilee but on the return to Preston another excursion hauled by a Black 5 pulled in on the other side of the platform. There was much photography of the two locos sitting side by side in the slowly swirling mist of late evening, augmented by escaping steam. Robin
