Colum's 'Whatever you say'song is appropriate in many situations. About 15 years ago I went to the island of Sark, CI to play music as part of the launch of a CD Of Sark traditional music, put together by Ken Lees, my late brother-in-law-it's an amazing and valuable collection, still available on the island. After a day or two, we realised that this idyllic place had changed a lot since our last visit. Its people were being terrorised and bullied by the vicious agents of a couple of thugs called the Barclay Brothers, owners of the Daily Telegraph, the Ritz Hotel, Yodel & various other parts of the criminal enterprise known as the British economy. Colum's fine song found a ready audience among people in real fear of the Barclay thugs.
