Todays 'brain dead' cyclist - rode in the wrong direction along a one way street, on the right hand side (for the cyclist) of the road. When he/she got to a delivery van stopped he/she instead of swerving into the path of the oncoming traffic decided to endanger pedestrians my mounting the pavement instead. I was safe, observing this all from yards away at a bus stop!!! What is worse is their is no clause in the Highway Code instructing to only use the pavement with extreme caution when approach stopped high sided vehicles as oncoming cyclists going the wrong way down a one way street on the wrong side of the road may not be in a pedestrian's line of sight until too late. Worse than that, the local authority failed to put a hazard warning sign for pedestrians where the vehicle was stopped. (end of very random, possiblevery passive-aggressive stream of consciousness).
