Derek and Dorothy Elliott were a well known folk duo that ran the Barnsley folk club on Monday nights in the King George and had many folk guests of the 1970 onwards

Dorothy sadly died yesterday ~ Melody Elliott Barton announced on fb ~ Derek predeceased Dorothy and the family live in Whitby ~ Nadine Elliott is elder sister and also lives in Whitby ~ she is married to Chris Parkinson folk accordionist/musician

RIP Dorothy and thanks for the music and the folk songs and music
