Go to Ennis, to be sure...lots of pubs with nightly stuff there. Be sure to check out Ciaran's, up the street from the O'Donnell monument (can't miss that). And there's another, bigger pub just half a block farther that has things happening (a little too crowded for my tastes). And check out May Kearney's, just over the river. Of course, this information is based on my trip back in 95. Likely, things have changed. If you have the chance to hear Mick Coyne play, do so. Splendid uillean pipes player. He owns several hairdressing shops in the area.
