As an uninvited guest wanting to make an informed choice on whether to go and buy this CD or not I've found this thread both helpful and infuriating. Like some of you I'm torn between desperately wanting to own this music and do the right thing by the artist. However, I'd like to pick up on a point made earlier which pretty much said that we'd all tape the records off a friend anyway and what's the difference. If you go to this site (http://www.beatmerchant.co.uk) this nice young gentleman will burn off a CD copy of all three Nic Jones old solo albums for £15 a time. You may think this is the same as buying from CM because Nic doesn't benefit. But this guy doesn't profess to be doing anything more than 'taping' his own record collection for money. Do you think this is a way forward for us all? By the way, I haven't bought either offer yet. Colin
