My word, do you not recognise when a tongue is firmly inplanted in a cheek. I have not yet managed to get to a session in Beverley so do not know your good selves, the landlady or the establishment. What I do recognise however is the possibility of a good tried and tested venue, good cheap beer, good crowd of people, having a good time, coming to a premature end. It may be possible that a quiet, diplomatic, word in the landladies shell-like explaining gently what the "folk music" world is all about, of how it embraces and encourages people of all ages and abilities including children to participate in a convivial gathering. You may tell me that this has already been attempted, in which case sadly it may be time to move on, but many your threads would indicate that you do not truly wish to do so. Perhaps another effort with the landlady may be in order. I did not intend to offend anyone, and trust that your responses like my initial thread had tongues thrust into the sides of faces.
