For me one of the highlights was Friday night, as people streamed in, all the hugging and grinning and greeting and hugging and smiling and playing and reconnecting and hugging...we have got to be some of the hugging-est people on the planet, which is pure manna as far as I'm concerned.

The energy on Friday night felt somehow electrified -- perhaps it was just me projecting my utter joy at being there. Even though I haven't hung out here [Mudcat] much in the past year, I was tickled to meet the likes of Homeless (who I probably could have talked to for a couple more hours if standing up weren't so hard at 3:00 a.m.) and Morticia and Willie-O.

And I just GOTTA ask -- are there ANY Mudcat women who do NOT have a crush on Big Mick??????? I mean, how can you do anything but love a great, big teddy bear with a heart the size of Wyoming like that?????? And Mick, when are you going to bring the incredible woman who puts up with you the rest of the year so she can see why you're so crazy about us the same way we're crazy about you?
