Zero population growth is no longer adequate. Or so it seems. For some reason our leaders want to eliminate us. I think it's just the ultimate expression of their ego and greed. Not only do they want the entire planet, they want it all to themselves.

I also think there are life-extending technologies they're hiding right now that would cause an even more explosive growth in population if they were made available to the public (cure for cancer?, etc.) So it's now or never. If the people in control don't seize the opportunity to kill us off and dumb down the ones who are left, they will lose their hold on power.

Yeah. Aspartame was developed as a chemical weapon. Just happened to be sweet. It's a carcinogen. Yet the FDA allows it's continued use. It's in thousands of foods now, as a sweetner. Like allowing save levels of cyanide in food. The stuff was developed by Monsanto, by the way. Rumsfeld's old company. They're also splicing rat and AIDS genes into corn and other plant crops.
